To be an authorized affiliate of onRocket.com, LLC, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in this agreement.
Please read this agreement carefully before registering and using the onRocket.com, LLC service as an affiliate. Signing up for the onRocket.com, LLC affiliate program and using it indicates your acceptance of this agreement and its terms and conditions.
If you are an existing affiliate of onRocket.com, LLC and do not agree with the entirety of this document, you must immediately cease participating in the onRocket.com, LLC affiliate program, and remove any assets and/or links pointing towards Rocket.net.
1. Joining the Program
Completing the affiliate signup form does not guarantee you the right to participate in the onRocket.com, LLC affiliate program. Every application to join our affiliate program will be manually reviewed and processed by an employee of onRocket.com, LLC.
onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to deny any affiliate application, with or without reason, at our sole discretion.
Your participation in the program is solely for this purpose: to legally advertise the Rocket.net website to receive a commission on products purchased by your referred individuals. Any information between you as the affiliate and onRocket.com, LLC as the company must remain confidential. You also agree to receiving marketing emails from the Rocket.net Affiliate team.
2. Revocation of Affiliate Status
onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to perform reviews & audits of approved affiliate accounts at any time, with or without notice, and may, at our sole discretion, revoke your ability to participate in our affiliate program for any or no reason, including, but not limited to:
3. Affiliate Agreement Changes
onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to modify & change the affiliate agreement at any time, with or without notice, and at our sole discretion.
By continuing to participate in the onRocket.com, LLC affiliate program, you agree to any and all changes made to this agreement.
Should you not agree to any changes made to this affiliate agreement, you must immediately cease being an affiliate of onRocket.com, LLC.
4. FTC Disclosure
We strongly advise affiliates to comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on testimonials and endorsements. All endorsements, reviews, testimonials on onRocket.com, LLC products, and services, as well as relationships between other types of content websites (forums, blogs, microblogs, and other Social Media channels) and onRocket.com, LLC must be disclosed in a separate policy on the affiliate sites.
FTC points out that “when there exists a connection between the endorser and the seller of the advertised product” it is imperative that such connection is “fully disclosed”. FTC deems the relationship in an endorser-sponsored light, and believes that the end user has the right to understand that one exists More Information here. We share the undergirding idea of this approach, and strongly encourage our affiliates to adhere to the FTC’s rules. We also reserve the right to terminate relationships with any non-compliant affiliates.
5. Affiliate Links
You may use graphic and text links on your website and in emails. The site may also be advertised "offline" in classified ads, magazines, and newspapers. You may use the graphics and text provided to you by us, or you may create your own as long as they are deemed appropriate according to the conditions in 2.
6. Affiliate Account Details
When signing up to become an affiliate of Rocket.net, you must provide us with personal information, including but not limited to your full name, physical address, website URL, and more.
You agree to keep this information current at all times. Rocket.net reserves there right to withhold any commissions should we suspect your affiliate account is not up to date.
7. Affiliate Tracking
When a web surfer clicks through your affiliate link, a cookie is placed on their browser that contains your affiliate username. Their IP address is also tracked in the database along with your affiliate name. When this person decides to buy a product, the script will look for this cookie and/or try to match their IP address to identify the affiliate who will be awarded the commission. Visitors sent through your affiliate link may make a purchase later in time, and the commission will still be awarded if the cookie is present in their browser and/or they are using the same IP address as the one logged in the database. A session cookie of 60 days will be open on each CTR of a link.
onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to deny awarding any commission manually should you refer a customer to Rocket.net outside of your affiliate link.
8. Liability
We will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, and any results of "intents of harm" to the program or our website. We do not make any expressed or implied warranties with respect to the affiliate program and/or products sold at this site. We make no claim that the operation of the affiliate program and our website will be error-free and we will not be liable for any interruptions or errors.
9. Payout Terms
Commissions deemed due and owed to you under the program will be paid to you directly by onRocket.com, LLC after any holding period and in accordance with a regular payout cycle established by onRocket.com, LLC. No commission will be paid for signups by you, your household, or anyone within your organization. onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to only pay for active referrals.
Active is defined by clients with a website and domain name pointed to a onRocket.com, LLC server, and a fully functional website. Websites under construction/maintenance or default script installations are not considered active. Commissions are only paid out for all our Managed WordPress Hosting products; self-signed commissions are strictly prohibited. Commission amounts will be paid out by the sticker price of the account; established by the most current price for the product or service as noted on the website.
All commissions are held in a pending state for 60 days before paid out, and will then be paid out on the next 15th. For example, if you refer a customer on June. 5, 2020 then it would clear on August. 4, 2020 and be included in the payout for August 15, 2020.
onRocket.com, LLC automatically pays affiliates every 15th. You are responsible for ensuring your payout details are up-to-date and current at the time of payouts. By promoting Rocket.net, you agree that we can not be held responsible for any payouts sent to the wrong PayPal address or to another payment method you have on file.
10. Binding Arbitration.
By participating in this affiliate program, you agree to binding arbitration for any disputes or claims that arise against onRocket.com, LLC or its subsidiaries in conjunction with this program. An arbitration firm selected by onRocket.com, LLC will be the sole and final arbitrator for any and all disputes or claims related to or resulting from participation in this program. All decisions rendered are final. You also are responsible for any and all costs related to such arbitration.
11. Restrictions on Promotions & PPC Policy
onRocket.com, LLC and its affiliate program allows you (the publisher/affiliate) the right to promote the onRocket.com, LLC brand and trademark via your personal website or blog. As so, the general public or press might perceive this as a joint effort. Therefore certain kinds of advertising is prohibited to protect the brand and its trademarks.
Any and all of the following methods of promotion are strictly prohibited in the onRocket.com, LLC affiliate program:
You are prohibited from using the keywords coupons, discounts, or similiar terms in your SEO (such as the page title, description, keywords, headings etc) without prior approval from an employee of Rocket.net.
As an approved affiliate, you are allowed to participate in keyword bidding / PPC however, you are prohibited from brand bidding on any Rocket related keyword, including but not limited to: Rocket, onRocket, Rocket.net, etc.
When participating in keyword bidding, you must add all the negative keywords listed below in your campaign:
onRocket.com, LLC may review your affiliate account at any time, without or without notice, to gauge if your promotional methods violate any condition set out in this affiliate agreement.
We reserve the right to decline all commissions belonging to an affiliate account should they be found to violate or are suspected of violating any condition set out within this affiliate agreement.
12. Affiliate Referral Codes
Every affiliate account is given a unique link by default (?ref=example). As an affiliate, you may change your unique referral code at anytime within the affiliate dashboard however, you are prohibited from referencing anything related to promotions, discounts, or terms that could give the wrong impression of you being an official Rocket employee, contractor, or have any official association with Rocket beyond the affiliate program.
Some examples of prohibited referral codes includes but is not limited to:
It is Rocket’s sole discretion as to what would be considered prohibited and potentially confusing. You will be contacted by Rocket should we find your referral code to be unacceptable in which case you will be required to change your referral code. Repeat offences may result any our account being closed.
13. Right For Refusal
At our sole discretion, onRocket.com, LLC reserves the right to revoke your ability to participate in our affiliate program at which time you must remove any marketing material from your website pointing to Rocket.net.
